REVIEW: “Never the Bride” by Cheryl McKay and Rene Gutteridge

When I first heard about this book, it sounded really cute, so I really looked forward to reading it. Then, when I started reading, it was hard to get into it — I felt like I wasn’t in the mood for something so “cute” — so I thought, “uh-oh”. But, I plugged on. And, by half-way through, they hooked me, and I couldn’t put the book down!
I really could relate to so much of the main character’s life… not that I’m in exactly the same position! LOL. I’m already married, for one! But, her struggles with trusting God were very realistic, and I found myself nodding my head at so many parts. The book just resonated with me.
Definitely recommended. It’s a really cute story, and a quick read. 🙂

  1. I love cute. Not all the time, but definitely most of the time. Maybe I should pick this one up.
