A Flexitarian is a “flexible vegetarian”, or a vegetarian that sometimes enjoys eating meat. I’ve been looking to eat more healthy foods, but didn’t care to give up meat entirely, and this seems like the sensible way to go.
Most of the book is comprised of “Flexitarian” recipes (some of which can also be adapted to include meat). There are 5 weeks of meals, including breakfasts, lunches, dinners, and snacks. The rest of the book teaches you about the new 5 “Flex” Food Groups, and about fitness tips.
I loved the little “Craving Control” boxes, as they had some fantastic tips for how to control/curb the munchie attacks. 😉 And, Ms. Blatner’s humor was cute. 😛
