REVIEW: “The Last Lecture” by Dr. Randy Pausch

I first heard of Randy Pausch and this book when someone emailed me a YouTube link to his “last lecture” given at Carnegie Mellon University.

Dr. Pausch was diagnosed with terminal pancreatic cancer, and wanted to leave a legacy for his 3 young kids (ages 6, 4, and 18 mos.). So, his lecture was entitled “Really Acheiving Your Childhood Dreams“.

Randy died last year. He was a very, very wise man, and this book is chock-full of that wisdom. It’s one I’ll go back to time and again, I’m sure, as there’s a lot that can be learned, inside.

HIGHLY recommended!

  1. I’ve heard great things about this. I just haven’t brought myself to read it. I’m sure it’s horribly sad to read, knowing that he died.
